With three modern manufacturing plants and marketing operations worldwide, L&T Valves intends to recruit a Business Development Manager for their China marketing.

Salary Range: Negotiable

Qualification

  • Engineering Degree

  • Fluent in spoken and written English with local language & excellent interpersonal skills

  • Ability to negotiate, creative and up to date on latest technology.

  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to quickly build relationships inside and outside of organization.

  • Willing to travel widely within China to various industrial towns.

  • 10-15 years in China region, progressive Sales experience within an organization, preferably in the valve manufacturing sector.

Job Description

  1. Develop the market, identify and establish business with key clients and achieve sales targets.

Identify key Engineers and Procurement personnel at defined target accounts and leverage relationships to ensure fair market positioning of products; Ensure products are viewed by Key Account project teams and be on their Approvals , support product and Sales Management efforts to gain approval; Technical and commercial knowledge of product portfolio to assist LTVL team in sizing , recommendations of product to meet written requirements of a process specification; Connect with capital projects in China by open and transparent communication with sites, end user, foreign office of the Key Accounts (through our global front end team) or other involved parties; Interact with Product Sales Managers in support of Company defined go-to-market strategies for a particular geographic region; Submit monthly activity reports and communicate with LTVL personnel on a timely and regular basis as required.
