1. Leads a cross functional plant based program. This coordination will include the following teams: Tooling Engineer(s), Process Engineer(s), Quality Engineer(s), Operations Supervisor, and Manufacturing Engineer.

2. Is responsible to lead his / her team to execute all plant tasks and deliverables for new product launches including tool install and commission, run at rate, supplier readiness reviews and PPAPs, meeting customer MRDs.

3. Represents his / her team as the lead manufacturing member of the program team. In this role he will interface with the Program Manager, Program Engineer, Program Buyer, Account Manager, and Cost Analyst.

4. Leads ECN in production period.

5. Launching cost control during new program launching period.

6. Ensure Housekeeping and Health & Safety Standards are maintained.

7. Complies with policies and procedure pertaining to facility or divisional adopted standards such as TS 16949 and ISO 14001.

8. Utilizes the concepts of continuous improvement including Lean.

REQUIRED SKILLS AND ABILITIES:

1. Bachelor of Science in Manufacturing or Industrial Engineering.

2. Minimum of 5 years experience in automotive industry.

3. Six Sigma Black Belt preferred.

4. Good written and verbal communication skills.

5. Ability to lead a team.

6. Problem resolution skills.

7. Conflict resolution skills.

8. Planning, task orientation, results orientation.

Good oral and written English.
