Job Responsibilities:
. Calibrate FIE system, diesel engines and vehicles to meet emissions, drive-ability, and performance goals;
. Perform developmental tests on engines and vehicles to gather data for analysis;
. Execute the calibration problem solving and focus on calibration improvement continuously.
. Write technical reports and presentations to communicate data, test results, and project status for internal and external purposes;
. Support Calibration Review and maintain the Calibration Database
. Some amount of traveling may be required – may require extended traveling during seasonal development test trips.
Qualifications:
.Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering with courses on internal combustion engines; Master degree is preferred.
.Has experience on common rail calibration, or similar experience.
.2~4 years test or research experience on automotive engines (gasoline or diesel) is highly preferred
.Strong analytical and problem solving skills; ability to use computer based tools such as Excel, Matlab, etc. to solve engineering problems;
.Ability to read, write and speak in English fluently.
.Patient, willing to learn, able to grasp new concepts, flexible, team player, able to work under pressure especially in customer site.
