IT Specialist
Reports to: Manager IT Infrastructure -Asia Pacific
Responsibility
- To attend and resolve end user incidents including desktops/laptops, printing, wireless and software support (Email, Microsoft Office, etc.)
- To manage and complete standard change requests including PC/Laptop builds, new user configuration, and software installations
- Support to ensure smooth daily IT operations, as well as 1st level administration work on local LAN, file servers, Backup, telephone and other office equipment
- Support the access security and CCTV systems of the company
- To deploy and administer new and existing Wintel servers, VMware infrastructure, backup exec, Routers and switches, Firewall etc.
- Participate in the root-cause analysis and statistical reporting on recurrent incidents
- Actively support the planning and implementation of the company’s IT development and future infrastructure
- Support the other countries in the region along with APAC IT team and engage with headquarter in Germany as and when required
- Participate in Corporate IT projects
- Manager local vendor relations for locally provided services
Requirement
- Engineer, Bachelor Degree or above
- Experience on Win10, Windows Server 2008/2012, VMware, HP DL380 series servers, Cisco swtiches and routers, Synology NAS
- An independent contributor, who is able to work with minimal supervision
- Positive attitude and takes initiatives and willing to take on responsibilities
- Professional Certificates such as CCNA, CCNP will be and added advantage
- Highly Self-motivated and proactive personality
- Team spirit, enjoys to work in a team environment
- Fluent in English and Mandarin
