Responsibilities:
1. Manage and lead activities to improve quality system and performance of suppliers base.
2. Utilize standard company processes to audit new suppliers, and to drive suppliers improving to company requirement.
3. Managing supplier quality complaints according to the defined escalation levels, lead the root-cause analysis and issue resolution to supplier quality issues.
4. Conduct technical review on the assigned commodities for new projects.
5. Lead APQP and PPAP activities for the assigned projects and commodities.
6. Analyze supplier performance metrics in supporting to supplier bidding list maintenance.
7. Lead / Assist roll out, training and implementation of global supplier quality procedures at both suppliers and China plants.
8. Support cost saving opportunities and activities.
9. Provide training to plant SQE team and/or suppliers as required.
Requirements:
1. Good experiences in using APQP and PPAP processes.
2. Good knowledge and understanding in quality tools like SPC, MSA, FMEA, 8D and 5 why etc.
3. Persistent driving for results through sound project management, organizational and systematic problem solving skills. Capable to manage complex projects.
4. Willing to work under high pressure, fast-pace environment with minimal supervision.
5. Good communication and interpersonal skills.
6. Frequent travel is required.
