General Overview:
The Sales Support Manager will be responsible for overall execution of sales and distribution strategy designed for achieving GTM objectives. He/she will work collaboratively with sales, trade marketing, supply chain and customer services team to drive business growth using system tools and data-driven insights. He/she will contribute to improve sales efficiency and discipline through the deployment of standard procedures and the continuous monitoring and training approaches.
Responsibilities:
×Distributor capacity evaluation and enhancement:
- Responsible for distributor capacity building in terms of capacity evaluation, interface setup and maintenance
- Monitor distributor shipment through effective utilization of the ordering system
- Evaluate the feasibility of deploying DMS system and establishing connection with ordering system to gain transparent distributor data for proactive demand planning and portfolio management
×Overview retail management and distribution progress :
- Work with sales manager to improve the efficiency of daily routing plan to make sure the stores are served at organized schedule and requested frequency
- Keep track of the distribution progress in terms of point of distribution, brand distribution, display and assortment, and project execution
- Analyze offtake in different channels to gain insights of store productivity and SKU performance
×Sales team effectiveness evaluation:
- Monitor sales team performance under the defined KPI measurement scheme
- Evaluate monthly and/or ad-hoc target breakdown to ensure the rationality and to achieve maximized outcome
- Analyze sales representatives’ productivity in executing short-term tactical targets such as executing seasonal promotions
×Manages the reporting system to provide insights for decision making:
- Monthly and weekly planning through monitoring shipment, distributor inventory and AR collection
- Publishe regular reports monitoring KPI achievement in the areas of sales, distribution coverage and quality
- Deep dive in the miscellaneous data to pinpoint the weakness area for triggering improvement actions
Requirements:
?Four- year college degree, MBA is a plus
?5+ years of sales/ Sales Operations role in FMCG industry, 2+ years of team management & cross functional working experience
?Demonstrated communication and collaboration skills, possesses strong verbal and written communication skills (in both English and Mandarin Chinese)
?Self-motivated, disciplined and ambitious personality
?Extensive experience in data analysis to deliver insights and to drive decision making
?Strong problem solving skills in a result-driven environment
?Excellent time management and organizational skills
