Bachelors/ Masters degree in Mechanical Engineering or Electrical/ Electronic Engineering related to the automotive field



Job Description
1.Work with customers to define technical requirements (system configuration, ECU requirements, Control Requirements) for the application of Engine Management Systems (EMS) to customer vehicles
2.Capture systems requirements and Develop and maintain Systems requirement Documents (SRD) and Circuit Interface Requirement documents (CIR) for Engine Management System
3. Develop and Manage workplan with customers to meet program deliverables
4.Manage development of Engine Control Units (ECU) with ECU design engineers to meet customers performance, cost, quality and delivery requirements
5.Coordinate delivery of prototypes
6.Develop and release required customer drawings and specifications
7.Maintain open issues list with customer and lead development of action plans with customer and component design engineers to close all open issues
8.Lead development of system level Failure Mode and Effects Analysis (FMEA)
9.Support key life test requirements for EMS systems and the ECU
10.Lead packaging of ECU onto applications to meet performance, environmental, EMC, durability and vibration requirements
11.Identify wiring requirements for EMS components and develop wiring connection diagrams
12.Lead system Technical Design Reviews (TDR)
13.Lead integration of EMS hardware onto development engines and vehicles
14.Design and conduct system validation tests (emissions, performance, EMC and durability), prepare system verification plans and reports
15.Provide Engine Management System acceptance criteria for engine and vehicle level testing and service diagnostics
16.Assist Customer in development of production process, acceptance criteria and test software related to the Engine Management system for the OEM's engine plants and vehicle assembly plants
17.Support development and validation of required service procedures and service tools
18. Support Customer's production launches
19.Lead Vehicle level issue resolution, including pre-production prototype, B&A plant, and launch support
20.System change control management
21. Diagnose Engine Management system issues
22.Track, analyze and lead corrective actions for warranty issues
23.Prepare EMS system proposals for pursuit of new business
24.Support the quoting of new business
25.Maintain Roadmap for future EMS system, control feature and ECU requirements
