Mission
- Ensuring strategic procurement for the assigned material fields, in which case the potential for bundling all sites/projects of the different OC's is exploited to achieve the best conditions based on delivery excellence.
- Early inclusion of Procurement and suppliers in the product qualification / manufacturing process as well as monitoring current products in order to minimize the overall costs and secure the quality of the products.

- Taking account of the interface partner.

Responsibilities:
- Organize and execute regional pooling between the two IC LMV MV locations Wuxi and Shanghai and cross-regional bundling of the demands of the other Groups/sites and projects for optimum utilization of procurement power.
- Be actively involved in the product development / manufacturing process as well as undertaking and pushing forward cost reduction measures (design to cost, target costing, standardization, key data, etc.) to achieve the target costs for materials and reduce the overall material costs by fulfilling the necessary functions.
- Analyze demand, markets and suppliers to create a basis for deciding on the optimum sourcing strategy.
- Together with the PuC-team, define and implement the procurement, supply and bundling strategy in order to achieve the maximum profit contribution to the corporate targets.
- Conduct price and contract negotiations with contract conclusion to guarantee security of supplies at the best conditions.
- Undertake supplier management (jointly with partner functions, e.g. specialist department, Q. logistics, etc.) in order to obtain the best suppliers and ensure an optimum supply chain.
- Other related tasks assigned by the supervisor
