Department Description:
Digital Worker provides employees with tools that connect people and data, anytime and anywhere. By deploying innovation into the workplace, Digital Worker is enabling "One Ford" with collaboration and productivity tools in four major categories: Enterprise Collaboration, Information Management; Unified Communications and Office Computing. 
 
Position Duties:
The position offers a wide range of varied responsibilities. No two days are the same. Depending on timing and demand the position responsibilities could include:
 

• Manage Digital Worker engagement events/activities.
• Collection (and interpretation) of voice of Business customer
• Creation of Multi-media content to support Digital Worker Deployment efforts
• Identify and develop best practices for use of Digital Worker tools
• Development of End User Engagement Plans for new functionality deployments
• Development and operation of existing and new engagement channels with the Digital Worker AP GDGF user base [~5K]
• Identification, Documentation and Deployment of repeatable Digital Worker Business Use Cases (How iWork Scenarios)
• Support the on-going cascade effort around Digital Worker tools and specifically the How iWork initiative
• Contribute to Executive/Business governance process for Digital Worker program.

Candidate Specification

 
Desired Skills:        
 

• Project Management,
• Digital Worker Tool Experience e.g. Office Suite, Web Conferencing, IM, Social Media experience, Smartphone/Tablet (optimally enrolled in Go Digital...Go Further program).
• Organizational Change Management.
• Interest in new technologies.

 
Required Skills:
 

• Digital Media creation (Office documents, audio visual etc.)
• Self-Starter with Can Do Attitude. Ability to work independently & as part of team
• Willingness to experiment/Innovate
• Excellent written and oral communications skills; Strong interpersonal skills 
• Ability to effectively prioritize competing demands.

 
 
Professional Exposure                    
 

• IT technology life cycle-planning and implementation
• Innovative collaboration/engagement with end users as IT professional
