职位描述：
Responsibility:
1. Develop an initial gating system and cooling strategy for new products according to the defined process, generating all necessary 3D models.
2. Prepare and run casting simulations, analysing results and making the necessary adjustments to the gating system design and to the cooling strategy to optimize filling and solidification performance, and run additional simulation iterations until simulation results are acceptable.
3. Prepare technical presentations including casting / core making simulations of new products or products in quotation stage to be used by:
? Nemak commercial or Nemak Asia PDC in technical reviews with new or existing customers.
? Nemak Asia PDC in product and tooling development activities.
4. Correlate the casting simulation results with actual results to improve reliability of simulations processes.
5. Prepare and run casting simulations for engineering changes, analysing results and reporting any identified risks.
6. Participate and lead continuous improvement projects with Nemak Asia Operations departments to improve casting and core quality of products in mass production.
7. Manage simulations information, ensuring adequate information storage and back up.
Qualification:
1. Bachelor Degree, Mechanical engineering or metallurgy related educational background
2. High creativity with good problem solving skills
3. Team work oriented
4. Analytical thinking
5. Willing to work under pressure
6. Fluent English
7. 2 to 5 years in similar position in HPDC foundry
8. Experience in the use of Flow 3D simulation software (preferred) or Magmasoft.
