Accountabilities
? Initiate RFQ activity supporting local business and global sourcing programs
? Negotiate purchasing cost and commercial terms with suppliers
? Initiate and conduct supplier nomination process with functional team
? Conduct program kick-off meeting with program team
? Initiate BOM cost estimation supporting program acquisition
? Support quality team for supplier visit and PPAP audit
? Support quality team to succeed in APQP, PPAP approval and launching programs
? To solve miscellaneous open issues of suppliers and support quality team for problematic suppliers and action plan follow up
? Support the material Demand in program development phase
? Material tracking support after PO is released;
? Work with PM for program gate review, as core team member to coordinate with other function team members(ASQ, ME, PD, MRO, Logistic, etc.) for components development
? Support and liaise with global team
? Initiate Cost Down Workshops (VA/VE)

Requirement
? Bachelor degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent
? Minimum 2 years working experience in automotive or from similar product industry (Stamping, Casting, forging, Machining components or system assemblies.
? Minimum 2 years working experience in sourcing or procurement role
? Knowledge of Quality systems such as ISO14001, ISO9001, TS16949, VDA6.3 and tools
? Fluency in Mandarin and English is essential
? Frequent regional travels and participation to conference calls with internal overseas customers If necessary
? ERP operating experience, SAP system experience will be preferred.
? Experience in exhaust system industry will be a plus
? Potential qualification as team leader to identify and solve department procurement activities, VAVE, cost reduction negotiation, etc.
