General Summary Statement
The position’s primary responsibility is to conduct financial analysis for actual performance, develop forecast and business plan, operating cost control, and project spending custody. In addition, this position also handles special analytical work and ad-hoc projects requested by local, regional and Dearborn offices, as well as OEMs (FCO, Lincoln, CAF, JMC, etc.) to support business initiatives.
 
Key Duties
- Closely work with counterparties in FCO, JV, and Corporate and participate development of monthly Forecast, annual Budget and Business Plan;
- Guide representatives from each function team through the Forecast, Budget, and Business Plan process;
- Optimize profit analysis model;
- Highlight key issues in business activities for management review;
- Participate review meetings with global FA team;
- Compile monthly actual financial results and compare with Budget and Forecast;
- Control budget/forecast for Operating Cost, including regional office, and conduct variance analysis;
- Control forecast and actual tracking of project spending, being key contact person with global / regional EPB teams;
- Being FA representative to support success of all projects;
- Conduct LTR (credit loss and loss reserve) study following global policy;
- Support Accounting team in closing period for tie-in cost study and marketing expense accrual;
- Support annual operating costs and loan origination costs study;
- Be responsible for BPR update;
- Prepare regulatory reports as requested;
- Keep close connection with regulatory officer and FAFC compliance officer for updated requirements;
- Custody the use of financial accountable documents;
- Other ad hoc requirements, including develop new tool for financial analysis.
 
Requirements
- Sufficient knowledge of Balance Sheet and Income Statement;
- Solid understanding of financial analysis tools and methodologies;
- Strong quantitative & analytical skills;
- Strong PC skills to conduct spreadsheet analysis;
- Familiar with financial model establishment;
- Sophisticated communication skills;
- Being able to lead a project and coach others.
- Fluent in both written and spoken English;
- University graduated or MBA degree with Finance, Accounting, Banking or Business major.
- At least 4 to 5 years working experience in finance fields is preferred;
- Result orientation, strong will to learn and improve high energy and enthusiasm, and a good team player. 举报 分享
