Senior Commercial Finance Analyst

Position Description
-Responsible for managing all required commercial financial analysis of the Greater China team
-Complete all commercial analysis and reporting requirements (e.g. forecasting) in an accurate, robust, practical and timely manner
-Ensure compliance with financial governance requirements
-Responsible for managing the delivery of financial commitments of the Greater China Sales and Marketing team
-Identify opportunities to deliver financial commitments (e.g. stretch targets)
-Identify and analyse key issues, highlight trends and identify new opportunities
-Identify risks and recommend mitigation activities to deliver financial commitments
-Contributes to the Greater China Budgeting, LE, Forecasting
-Assist in the preparation of Budgets, LE's, and Integrated Business Planning Forecasts
-Lead the development and completion of annual planning activities in conjunction with the Sales and Marketing teams
-Responsible for meeting all deadlines and tasks completed in a robust manner
-Ensure consistency with known assumptions (e.g. wine allocations)
-Responsible for reviewing Demand plans prepared by Regional Business Managers to ensure robustness
-Management of Investment Expenditure
-Responsible for working with the Greater China team to accurately report, manage and analyse investment expenditure
-Responsible for the financial evaluation of sales and marketing activities and investment levels (e.g. new business, tactical investment, trade sell) including promotional effectiveness
-Responsible for the financial analysis and evaluation of trade negotiations
-Responsible for compliance with internal Pricing guidelines
-Responsible for the preparation of value chain analysis and making pricing recommendations
-Contribute to the implementation of Continuous Improvement
-Assist the implementation of standardised processes and procedures
-Reporting and Compliance
-Assist with the Annual PRC Audit
-Responsible for the monthly financial reporting
-Responsible for the Tax Reporting and compliance
Position Requirements
-Qualifications
-Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance
-Certificate of Accounting Professional
-Experience
-6+ years of financial and commercial experience within a major FMCG company
-Professional qualities
-Demonstrated ability to influence cross-functional team members
-Very strong analytical and strategic thinking skills
-Strong problem solving skills
-Effective planning and project management skills
-Functional qualities
-Strong commercial acumen
-Advanced Excel and modelling skills
-Experience with reporting systems and tools (OFA/Hyperion preferred but not essential)
-Strong communication, influencing and negotiation skills
-Ability to build and maintain relationships at all levels
-Ability to multi task, be highly driven and achievements focused performer
-Ability to work independently and drive decision making
-Fluent written and spoken English
-Prefer Local Shanghainese
