职位描述：
YCIS –CQ Korean Parent Relations Officer

Objective:
To serve in developing an effective channel in assisting communication between the school and parents, to help to build a strong parents community to support Foundation’s philosophy and objectives.

Key Skills & Capabilities
? Well understanding of the culture of Korea as well as excellent communication skills
- Bilingual language skills in Korean and English will support this role.
? Willing to learn a comprehensive knowledge of the YCIS school curriculum as well as the Korean national curriculum with Korean university admission ways for oversea Korean students
? Highly developed interpersonal skills and a desire to help Korean families with empathy and respect.
? The ability to reach out to the wider community and families to gain trust and support them as they seek to enrol their child(ren) in the school.
? Culturally sensitive, dependable and flexible
? Able to work on initiative and independently.
? Confident in presenting to, and interpreting English into Korean during the Parent information sessions
? Great PC/Mac skills – should have excellent knowledge of Microsoft Office and ability to work with it to translate different types of documents into Korean

Roles & Responsibilities
? Having a deep understanding of the attitudes and concerns of Korean parents
? Translating various school letters / (teaching) resources for Korean community to understand school better and more.
? Supporting various parent communities of different nationalities
? To provide an effective communication channel throughout the school, liaising with principals and Senior Leadership Team as appropriate
? To assist the school in communication of information to the Korean parent community
? To develop a strong sense of community and sense of belonging amongst the parent community, coordinate with PO to organise value-added on/off campus activities and events
? Organising PO events and activities for Children with parental involvement
? Work as part of the school office team sharing the workload of other members of the team during daily school hours & busy periods.
? To cooperate with Admissions and Marketing department, providing an efficient and friendly service to all parents, visitors and children.
? Facilitate PO’s regular community meeting and monthly meeting between PO leadership team and Principals.
? Present talks and conduct regular meeting with Korean parents and encourage them to participate into school events and be aware of school’s mission & principals’ messages
? To act as an alternative, communication channel for parents to address their concerns/feedbacks towards the school and to follow up with relevant divisions to address the concerns/feedbacks within school policies.
