HP Software IS Lab Operations team is responsible for owning and managing R&D Lab Data Centers that house R&D Equipment for Development and Testing globally. This particular role is for a Senior Systems Administrator in a team located in Shanghai. In addition the position involves guiding and mentoring junior staff, and working closely with geographically diversified team which are both internal to Lab Operations and outside in the various product development teams.

IT Operations Management (ITOM) is positioned to help IT move from being a cost center, responsible for Keeping The Lights On (KTLO) to an innovative business center. HP is radically changing the enterprise security landscape with its Security Intelligence and Risk Management (SIRM) platform.

Must have skills

? Windows – Installation, Administration, Troubleshooting of Operating System and Active Directory Services.
? Virtualization – Installation, Configuration, Resource Tuning, and Troubleshooting of Vmware, vCloud suite.
? Compute – Installation and configuration Blades and Stand-alone servers.
? Basic or Medium level understanding of Storage & SAN – Installation, and Configuration of Enterprise Arrays (3PAR,SAN) and Storage Switches/Directors.
? Software Development Tools – Installation, Configuration and Troubleshooting of SCM (Source Code Management), Collaboration, Continuous Integrations, Code Review products.
? Scalability & Interoperability – Implementation of Scalability and Interoperability environment for product and performance testing.

Good to Have

? Linux – Installation, Administration & Troubleshooting on different Linux/Unix flavors.
? VCP & Windows certification.
? Intermediate SQL skills (Oracle, DB2, MYSQL or MS SQL).
? Knowledge in AWS & Azure.
? Experience in working with global teams across boundaries.
? Network – Familiarity with Networking including Layer 2 and Layer 3 devices, IPv6, Infoblox.

Education and Experience

?Bachelor's or Master's degree in Engineering or equivalent
?Minimum 6-8 years’ experience Knowledge and Skills
? Minimum 5+ years’ experience working in a Heterogeneous Compute Infrastructure – with Enterprise Servers (HP Preferred), Storage and Network in a Physical, Virtual and Hybrid Environment.
? 4+ Years of experience in Windows & in depth knowledge of configuration management, Troubleshooting of Windows operating systems.
? 3+ Years of experience with Virtualization Technology (VMware, Hyper-V).
? Scripting Knowledge (Power-shell, PowerCLI).
? Experience with product compatibility and performance testing.
? Strong communication skills catered to a wide variety of audience (e.g. written, verbal, presentations) mastery in English and local language.
? Advanced multi-tasking and prioritization skills.
? Relationship management skills, including partnering and consulting. 举报 分享
