Job Responsibilities:
1. Conducts and/or specifies moderately complex tests using techniques to resolve customer concerns/problems; prepares technical reports based on results
2. Applies advanced computer-aided engineering analysis techniques to resolve customer concerns/problems
3. Adheres to new product development processes as it relates to concept analysis, business case, product development, pre-production and post launch steps; recommends methods of manufacture during the design of new products and design modifications or process changes based on cost/design studies
4. Modifies analysis techniques when necessary to solve more complex problems
5. Evaluates product failures using standard engineering techniques
6. Compiles and analyzes test results; formulates conclusions and makes appropriate recommendations
7. Provides liaison support between the engineering department and manufacturing, Creates CAD drawing, FAD, ECN as project required.
8. Recommends improvements and/or modifications for sequence of operations, equipment utilization and related matters
9. Contributes to the development of engineering test standards where applicable
10. Performs other duties as assigned
Job Skills Requirements:
1. Comprehensive knowledge of engineering concepts, practices and procedures and other internal engineering standards and systems
2. Knowledge of engineering systems, Working knowledge of computer software, such as CAD, Pro-E, MS Office.
3. Knowledge of company and competitor’s products and technical abilities of suppliers is a plus.
4.Well-developed understanding of company processes and procedures including, but not limited to new product development process
5. Strong interpersonal skills.
6. Well-developed written communication skills necessary for technical report writing.
7. Good English language skills to read and write.
Educational Requirements:
Bachelor Degree or above, major in mechanical related or electrical/Electronic engineering.
Experience Requirements:
Three years of professional engineering experience.
Physical & Environmental Requirements:
May require travel of a scheduled or urgent nature to review applications, discuss problems, visit suppliers / customers, trade shows, etc.
