If you are Reliability Engineer , you will have a chance to
Responsibilities:
Provides domain-specific expertise and overall reliability program leadership to cross functional projects and teams.
Provides consultation to product development architecture teams for material component selection, and associated reliability test plans.
Develops Design-for- Reliability (DfR) programs for broad level acceptance.
Provides advanced failure analysis, root cause identification, and corrective actions for reliability concerns and/or issues during development, manufacturing and field operations.
Analyzes field quality data to identify areas for prevention and improved detection.
Actively mentors less experienced engineers in the field of reliability.
Proactively drives reliability activities and uses reliability leading indicators including robustness.
Education and Experience Required:
Bachelor's, Master's or PhD degree in Engineering, Reliability Engineering or equivalent.
CRE or equivalent preferred.
Typically 6 - 10 years experience.
Knowledge and Skills:
Recognized expert in multiple areas of reliability.
Capable of defining reliability test plans for components, materials, and systems.
Skilled in failure analysis of multiple reliability failure modes in areas of expertise.
Ability to consolidate complex results and effectively communicate to executive level of management.
Knowledge of product development process and key supplier processes and how they impact reliability.
