Overview:
The supply chain planner is responsible for materials ordering & tracking in trading company, make sure the order delivery can meet customer request; maintain the system data which influence the MRP running and manage the exception; take action based on supply chain scorecard on weekly and monthly review to improve supply chain operation performance.
Key Responsibilities/Objectives：
1. Planning Operation
? Monitor daily purchase request creation, purchase order releasing and order acknowledgment.
? Response to escalation and follow up request of expenditure, manage drop shipment, coordinate with relative parties to improve on time delivery performance and customer experience.
? Backlog review and overdue backlog clean up on regular basis.
? Work with demand manager on the inventory control, safety stock set up and excess or obsolete stock handling.
? Manage both IV/OV vendors to avoid any the risk of crisis/big shortage
2. MRP maintenance
? Maintain SAP data of Customer Order, PR and PO to assure the MRP well running. Clean MRP exceptional messages in a daily basis.
? Work with purchaser to maintain the proper lead time, MOQ, Order Multiple, etc info in ERP which influent the MRP running.
? Maintain accurate records in accordance with policy and procedures.
3. Scorecard Updating and KPI improvement：
? Update supply chain scorecard (STS/STR/Lead time/inventory…) on weekly and monthly basis, root cause analysis on delayed order and excess stock and lead-time extension, drive action to improvement supply chain performance.
? Support on/lead supply chain improvement project to optimize process and improve operation efficiency.
? Support on supply chain cost productivity project, review shipment flow to deploy solution of cost reduction.
4. Others：
? Backup on the absence of other supplier team members
? Support on other job manager assigned based on daily operation status.
Key Qualifications, Experience and Knowledge:
? Bachelor’s degree in supply chain or equivalent coupled with 1-3 years’ experience
? Practical supply chain experience and MRP planning background, planning experience in manufacturing environment preferred
? Good knowledge of office software
? Good Knowledge of SAP system is preferred.
? Good communication with team members preferred
? Good English skill in reading, writing and speaking
