Main functions include:
- To support Industrial Water business plan through design/ specification/ sizing of process systems to support industrial clients.
- Apply skills and experience in technical design and specification of process engineering applications for water and waste water projects in China and Asia.

Key Job Responsibility:
- Water Process Engineer will manage production of design calculations, technical reports, permitting, detailed design and engineering plans and specifications, as well as construction administration for industrial, and possibly some municipal, Water /
Wastewater projects as part of a team.
- Researches feasibility of alternative design approaches, site conditions and regulatory specifications.
- Will work effectively and collaboratively in team situations and establish strong relationships with other teams where overlap of client project work exists.
- Development of plans, specifications, requests for proposals, and other contract documents.
- Works directly with a variety of engineering disciplines, office / project staff, client and subcontractors, throughout the project life cycle and therefore should have clear and concise, oral and written communication skills with a demonstrated ability to coordinate meetings, conduct effective client presentations and prepare written reports.
- May be assigned to projects as a Design / Technical Lead or possibly Task / Project Manager.
- Will perform process troubleshooting and optimization, pilot testing, bench scale testing and lab analysis of conventional and advanced water treatment technologies.
- May be asked to handle project delivery responsibilities, such as; project planning, budgeting, schedule monitoring and managing project controls.
- Performs sizing calculations, development of conceptual site layouts and conceptual cost opinions.
- Analyzes data including water quality, technology evaluations and plant operations information.
- Conduct site visits, condition assessments and performance evaluations of water treatment facilities.
- Ensure project compliance with all Arcadis practices and quality and safety standards.
- Facilitates coordination for timely completion and submission of projects.
- Ability and desire to travel on a regular and sometimes extended basis.
- Other duties as assigned

Job Requirement:
- 5 or more years’ experience.
- MSc degree in Civil, Environmental, Mechanical, Chemical Engineering or a related field of study.
- Experience with water and wastewater process planning, design, permitting and construction engineering activities.
- Pilot testing, bench scale testing, and laboratory analysis experience.
- Client Management skills including; preparation and development of proposals and client relationship building.
- Ability to travel on a regular basis sometimes for extended periods of time.
- Excellent Chinese and English communication skills, both oral and written; skills to include - public speaking, ability to communicate effectively as part of a team, preparation/development of technical documents and prior client involvement 举报 分享
