Position Overview

This position is specifically for complex mobile development projects for various platforms and devices such as Apple iOS and Google Android.



Responsibilities

1. Develop mobile applications for smartphone devices (iOS/Android)

2. Integrate to third-party data using various API techniques

3. Develop requirements and planning documentation

4. Collaborate with designers & marketing for prototype development

5. Set up and maintain SVN repositories for active and archived projects

6. Maintain well-documented, reusable, and transferrable code

7. Maintain working knowledge of new development software, trends, and practices related to your responsibilities



Qualifications

1. Expert knowledge in either Objective C or Java, or both

2. Functional knowledge of HTML, CSS, and Javascript (jQuery)

3. Functional knowledge of version control (SVN)

4. Functional knowledge of performance optimization techniques such as web caching or caching on local devices

5. Functional knowledge of open source online data storage systems, such as MySQL

6. Good understanding of object-oriented programming techniques

7. Strong oral & written communication skills with both internal teams & clients
