职位描述
We are looking for an experienced business analyst to work closely with Business users and IT experts to: advise users on how best to use or configure the system to meet the business objectives, formalize those needs, test the system, and train the users.
This role is pivotal and essential to ensure a successful deployment of a high-profile technology solution in the business and to ensure the expected benefits are realized. The person having this role will work closely with business users, internal and external IT software development teams to provide analytical support, define requirements/functional specifications for the system, and coordinate roll-out activities. The Business Analyst will be responsible for supporting current application, soliciting and defining business requirements, and coordinating implementations including training end users.
Specific Responsibilities:
-Analyze and document customer business functions and processes
-Acts as a liaison between system end-users, IT software development team and other parties.
-Participates in user acceptance testing and testing of new system functionality
-Elicit requirements using interviews, document analysis, requirements workshops, surveys, site visits, business process descriptions, use cases, scenarios, business analysis, and task and workflow analysis.
-Develop and write detailed business and functional requirements documents, wire frames, storyboards, and workflow diagrams.
-Critically evaluate information gathered from multiple sources, reconcile conflicts, decompose high-level information into details, abstract up from low-level information to a general understanding, and distinguish user requests from the underlying true needs.
-Work with users and business stakeholders to identify and prioritize opportunities for system enhancement
-Strong analytical and product management skills required, including a thorough understanding of how to interpret customer business needs and translate them into application and operational requirements.
-Liaise with QA teams during Internal Testing
-Coordinate User Acceptance Testing
-Coordinate meetings between integrated IT staff as needed to keep all parties informed and coordinated.
-Assist in team process and methodology improvements
Skills Profile:
-Excellent analytical skills and troubleshooting skills
-Negotiation and conflict resolution skills
-Excellent verbal and written communication skills and the ability to interact professionally with a diverse group - executives, managers, and subject matter experts.
-Highly organized, self-starter with strong ability to prioritize and multi-task
-Good understanding of software development and testing methodologies
-Experience with conference planning and group facilitation
-Strong customer service focus
-Must be willing to travel up to 25%, both domestic and international
-Must be flexible and adapt to changing environment
-Ability to work successfully across organizational lines and influence outcomes
-Manage multiple priorities; both independently and as a team player
-Must be able to support outside of normal working hours when necessary
-Be friendly, empathetic and professional even under stressful circumstances and tight timelines
-Fluent in English and Chinese
-Experience working a global environment, with users located remotely, and where supporting teams (helpdesk, development teams, peers, manager) might also be on different locations and time-zones
Experience/Knowledge
Required:
-5+ years of experience in a software development/IT environment
-5+ years of experience in a Business Analysis role
-Experience with software product development lifecycle methodologies and practices
-Working knowledge of SQL, ability to run basic queries and perform data analysis
-Working knowledge of Microsoft Visio, Word and Excel
Highly Recommended
-Experience with billing/financial applications and related business process
