Job Description

• Participation and contribution in all phases of the project execution incl. requirement gathering, implementation, testing and handover phases as a member of the project delivery team
• Elicit and document customer requirements including business logic, workflows and user interfaces by conducting requirements workshops together with clients
• Assist the sales and pre-sales teams in the development of technical solutions, the estimation of required implementation efforts and the formulation of comprehensive proposals
• Train customers and partners on our products and solutions as and when required
• Ability to successfully engage in multiple initiatives simultaneously
• Able to develop interfaces/application functionalities using Java, Spring, Hibernate, Restful, Web Services technologies

Qualifications

• Bachelor or Master’s Degree in Computer Sciences or similar discipline
• Minimum three years of relevant working experience in hands-on technical roles, with recent implementation assignments
• Solid technical expertise of the Java platform, relevant programming frameworks, such as Spring, Hibernate/JPA and AJAX, JavaScript as well a software design patterns
• Substantial working experience with companies providing software solutions for the industrial and manufacturing sector or users of such solutions having been involved and led specification, development and implementation activities
• Strong analytical skills, including a thorough understanding of how to interpret customer business needs and translate them into application and operational requirements
• Proven ability to handle complex technology project tasks with tight deadlines
• Excellent verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills in Chinese and English
• Pro-active and able to work effectively within a multi-functional and cross-cultural team across organisational and functional boundaries
• Availability to travel in China and the APAC region as and when required
