PURPOSE:

The Compliance Officer is responsible for setting up and maintaining the social compliance standards and procedures for BU Corrugated Solutions. The role provides guidance on compliance-related matters, performs factory audits, coordinate audit requests and activities from clients, monitor improvement and progress from CAP programs, and provide education sessions to promote consciousness and increase compliance level. This position also support/coordinate corporate initiatives in relation to compliance, international quality standards, environmental regulations, supplier ethics etc.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS / MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES:

？ Lead to develop working procedures, process flow and related standards for the social compliance work in Paccess.
？ With support from manager, combine compliance work with other work functions in Paccess to maximize synergy and increase efficiency and effectiveness
？ Lead to maintain and improve social compliance procedures, process and standards
？ According to clients & company requirements, prepare audit schedule, and provide on-site factory audits to production partners on a regular basis
？ Complete and file Social Compliance Audit Report for all audits. Maintain a system to track social compliance status of our production partners and its improvement and progress.
？ Responsible for defining and following up production partner’s Corrective Action Plan. Monitor CAP improvements and provide guidance and support to production partners when necessary
？ Be the primary contact person to coordinate all social compliance requests and activities from clients, follow up audit outcome and CAP programs
？ Keep other function teams informed of CAPs and other serious compliance issues, monitor that appropriate actions are taken during the sourcing and buying process.
？ Educate social compliance knowledge and skills and company standards both to production partners and to internal team, to promote consciousness, improve process, and increase compliance level
？ Support/coordinate corporate initiatives in relation to compliance, international quality standards, environmental regulations, supplier ethics etc.
？ Other tasks assigned by Supervisor


ESSENTIAL REQUIREMENTS OF POSITION:

？ College degree or above
？ Above 8 years working experience with minimum 5 years working in Social Compliance field preferably with an international retail company or a 3rd party factory audit Company.
？ Very knowledgeable in social compliance related standards, methodology, laws and regulations
？ High integrity level, honest
？ Excellent critical thinking and decision making skills with proven ability to analyze problems independently to develop solutions and present solutions and rationale for final approval.
？ Excellent interpersonal skills, able to communicate clearly, proactively and effectively in a matrix environment. Good influencing skills.
？ Must be assertive and tactful in communication. Not afraid to hold others accountable.
？ Good command of English and Mandarin, both verbally and in written
？ Positive attitude, self-motivated, team player. ?
？ Excellent PC knowledge (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
？ Frequent local travel required.


PREFERRED KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS/ABILITY:

？ Good knowledge in supply chain and manufacturing processes
