Responsibilities:
? To design-in our focus products/ and focus end applications to customers.
? Work closely with our suppliers to increase design-win registrations in new and existing customers, spotting opportunities, delivering samples, and assisting engineers on design where necessary.
? Work closely with the sales team to convert projects to win orders to achieving sales objectives.
? Establishes and maintains effective business rapport with customer’s R&D departments and component engineers introducing new products through road-shows or joint visits with key suppliers.
? Finding new customers in specific end applications to help expand our customer base and potential sales.
? Work closely with suppliers enlisting their support for more in depth technical support.
? Maintaining strong relationships with our suppliers’ product marketing and FAE teams.
? To help in the organization of customer road-shows presenting with suppliers key products of interest and technology roadmaps.
? To attend supplier regular training events and seminars, to meet supplier technical tests and qualifications.
? Resolve customer technical problems, and following through in a timely manner to provide the highest level of service available.
? Maintains market awareness on competitor products, industry trends and new concepts by reading industry periodicals, networking, attending periodic update training events and trade shows. Create new design opportunities.
Requirements:
? Candidate should possess at least a Mechanical / Electronics Engineering Degree.
? At least 5 years of sales experience in Electronics industry, with 3 years’ experience as an FAE.
? A connector driven FAE with design experience and customer knowledge in Industrial, Automotive, or Datacom segments. Having Passive, Discrete, or Sensor background is a plus.
? Have distribution experience for TE or Molex product line will be an advantage.
? Self assertive and able to work independently with minimum supervision and meeting deadlines.
? Mature disposition, positive attitude and self motivated.
? Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.
? Good writing and presentation skills in English.
