The Customer-Facing Engineering (CFE) team in ECO touches MILLIONS of end users a year and earns customer LOYALTLY for a LIFETIME by rapidly delivering SEAMLESS and INTEGRATED customer support experiences through a variety of insightful, creative, and innovative technologies like virtual agents and social-networking platforms.
We are looking for a dynamic, experienced, hands-on Software Development Engineer in Test (SDET) with exceptional drive, customer focus, passion for innovation and deep knowledge of testing methodology to take our products to the next level. As an SDET on our team, you will provide direct feedback on product specifications and design and you will provide test planning, test development and hands-on testing for complete product releases in a fast-paced and challenging environment.
Responsibilities:
- Review the design and work closely with developers and program managers on your features
- Define test planning and design test case to ensure the effective test coverage
- Design test tools and create test automations in a smart way to speed up the test process
- Manage the test execution and create the high-quality bugs to control/driver the quality of the product
- Being creative, innovative, and always looking to improve yourself. It is always to adopt the creative test methods to improve the test efficiencies.
Qualifications:
- A BA/BS or equivalent degree in Computer Science or related discipline is required
- Candidates must have at least 2 years professional software testing experience including test automation and/or infrastructure development, test planning, test case design, test methodologies
- Strong demonstrable knowledge of automation frameworks and test tools
- Passion to product quality, fast learning skills, skillful coding skills in C# or C++ and hands-on experiences with .NET based application development.
- Have a good understanding of OO principles, an in-depth knowledge of ASP.NET, IIS, HTML/DHTML, Script, CSS, XML/XSLT, Web service, database, and related components programming
- Excellent problem solving abilities, and a track record of outstanding performance
- Experience with Win32/COM is a plus.
- Good communication skills in both Chinese and English, and the ability to work across multiple disciplines to achieve great results
- Microsoft product group experience is beneficial and personal experience or knowledge of customer support is a plus
