JOB DESCRIPTION:

Title: SDE (Software Development Engineer)
Department: Microsoft ECO (Engineering, Community & Online)
Location: Shanghai

Are you interested in developing an infrastructure that impacts millions of users, and help all Microsoft customers worldwide to solve their problems? Are you interested in joining an organization that is advanced in enterprise application development? We focus on providing Microsoft Customers with excellent self-help solutions and online services. We are responsible for delivering a support infrastructure for all Microsoft products for millions of users across the globe. We design the global framework that facilitates authoring, publishing, searching, and delivering solution assets for the online support services. We also develop LOB (Line of Business) applications to support Microsoft employees to run their business.

Responsibilities:
- Design, development quality products.
- Provides the infrastructure to perform automatic diagnostics and fix to support millions of users online.
- Provides the communication channel when a customer encounters a problem and wants get support from Microsoft online
- Being creative, innovative, and always looking to improve yourself

Qualifications:
- BS or MS in Computer Science or equivalent is required.
- At least 5 years industry experience with solid software design skills
- Possess good communication skills in both Chinese and English
- Have a good understanding of OO principles, very strong coding skills in C# and hands-on experiences with .NET based application development
- Have in-depth knowledge of HTML/DHTML, JavaScript, CSS, XML/XSLT, ASP.NET, ASP.NET MVC, JQuery, Web service, WCF and related components programming
- Have strong problem solving ability, is able to find creative solutions to challenging technical problems
- Have a good understanding of Database, coding skills in T-SQL programming, ADO.NET is a plus
- Experience with Windows Services, IIS, IE platform and IE’s extensibility systems are a plus
- Knowledge of C++, and Win 32 programming is a plus
