Job Description
As a Global Quality (GQ) Customer Mapped Quality Experience (CMQE) Manager at Micron Technology, Inc. you will be the key customer-facing organization, taking your customers’ Quality requirements and needs so that Micron is able to deliver world class Customer Quality Experience (CQE). You will reach out to customers proactively to assess their needs and to follow up with your Site CQE or other Value chain contacts.
Responsibilities and Tasks
PRIMARY FUNCTION: -Single point of contact- for customers on quality
Manage CMQE team supporting Key Customers Cluster
Drive quality-related proactive and reactive communication
Acknowledge and drive closure of Returned Material Authorizations (RMAs), quality-related issues and customer requests
Work closely with Site CQE to make sure robust Preventive actions are in place so there is no recurrence of issue
Be the key communication channel for proactive quality initiatives such as Product Change Notifications (PCNs)
Work closely with customer to determine their key concerns
Proactively measure customers satisfaction index to Micron’s Quality and project expected QBR scores
Drive IPP Goal of #1 or #2 in Customer Quality Ranking
Host Monthly Quality Reviews (MQRs) and proactively share Quality Health Assessment of Customer products
Work with QMS team to set up standard Customer Audit reports for maximized Customer Audits efficiency
SECONDARY FUNCTION: Customer Support and Internal Loops
Champion “voice of customers” on quality within Micron
Proactively communicate feedback from your customers to Micron functions
Coordinate customer audit
Conduct training at customer sites
Education
Required
Bachelors Degree
Engineering - Materials Science
or Electrical or Mechanical Engineering or related field of study
Experience
Required
5 years experience in any of the following:
Quality processes and procedures
10 years experience in any of the following:
Semiconductor Manufacturing
Additional Information:
Supervisory experience Qualifications
Ability to work effectively in cross-functional teams
