Job Description

The Premier Field Engineering team (PFE) provides technical support for Microsoft’s Premier customers world-wide through onsite and remote support services. PFE is part of Enterprise Services and partners with Customer Service & Support to drive customer health and strengthen Microsoft technology adoption. PFEs act as the primary onsite technical contact, providing customer visibility, advanced technical troubleshooting support and problem resolution for Product Support Services and corporate customers, including issues escalated to the highest levels of management.



The ideal candidate should have at least 5-8 years of experience with SharePoint 2013, SharePoint 2010, and/or SharePoint 2007, .Net Recommended Qualifications: -Superior problem solving and troubleshooting skills at the System Engineer level. -Exceptional customer service, overall communication and technical writing skills. -Must have sufficient technical depth to communicate with development and other internal organizations at a peer level. -Must possess the ability to work independently with minimal management supervision and as part of a nationwide team of engineers. -Demonstrated aptitude for providing exceptional customer service in politically charged environments. -Ability to enhance the technical expertise of peers via the development of product training, mentoring of new hires, and team content development. -Ability to apply technology to improve existing products and systems at customers and for internal use. -Ability to actively participate in team support by proposing and implementing solutions

-Assist in developing strategies to gain additional Premier support accounts by contacting and establishing relationships with Premier Support Managers and Technical Account Managers.



Technical Requirements: -Solid experience/knowledge of SharePoint 2013, SharePoint 2010, and SharePoint 2007

- SQL Server Database and Transact-SQL - .Net framework Development -Solid understanding of the Microsoft Windows platform. -Genuine interest in technology with knowledge of Microsoft products and technologies preferred e.g. Active Directory, SharePoint, Windows server. LDAP query language is a plus -Knowledge of IIS, SQL Server, development with .NET languages, XML and Scripting technologies, and data access technologies. -Exceptional customer service, problem solving, and communication skills -Ability to work in a team environment. -Technical depth to communicate with development and other internal organizations at a peer level as well as convey technical concepts to non-technical individuals. -Ability to work with minimal supervision and operate as a self-contained business unit within the Premier Field Engineering team. -Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Justification for Hire SharePoint and O365 is a key element in the Business Productivity technologies. We are seeing a growing demand for the SharePoint Development and Application support in East China, but there is no SharePoint PFE in Busienss Productivity team in Shanghai. To fulfill customer needs and help grow engerprise service business, we need to hire SharePoint PFE in Shanghai.
