Job Responsibilities:

• Work with the product management and development teams to translate business strategies and requirements into solutions.
• Develop prototype code to validate architectural design decisions, ensuring maintainability, performance, security, scalability and time to market.
• Familiar with client side framework and server side framework, services and integration-tier development.
• Portlet development using Java and/or other language to JSR specification.
• Establish coding standards for all new development on the Liferay Enterprise platform.

Responsibilities include:

• BS or MS in computer science or equivalent.
• 3+ years enterprise level web application development (Java, JSP, Servlet, Struts, Javascript, Web Services, Spring, Hibernate).
• Understanding of web application server technologies, including open-source technologies.
• Solid web design and development experience.
• Can identify and apply typical J2EE design patterns
• Previous experience in Internationalization & localization a plus.
• Ability to work in a very dynamic, flexible and creative environment.
• Driven self-starter and a team player.
• Strong problem solving and analytical skills.
• Good verbal & written English communication skills.
