Job Title: Quality Assurance Engineer
Department: Quality & Engineering Department, Cixi, Ningbo, Zhejiang.
Responsible to: Quality Manager & General Manager
The Company: China Outsourcing Ltd is a rapidly expanding business sourcing and supplying precision cast, forged, machined and fabricated metal components and sub-assemblies from China for Western Companies. Over the last 10 years we have served blue chip companies operating in industrial sectors such as Oil & Gas, Marine and Automotive.
Job Purpose:
Located in Chengdu the QA Engineer has the responsibility of ensuring the components supplied meet the drawing and technical requirements of our customers, and developing Quality processes to ensuring all aspects of quality is maintained. In addition, he or she provides support to the Quality Manager in making sure that quality risks are correctly assessed, identified and managed for all project management procedures that require high quality project delivery and execution. Supplying FAIR, project documentation, reviewing material certificates etc.

Job Facts and Requirements:
You would normally work 40 hours a week, Monday to Friday 9.00am to 6.00pm
Much of your work will be on site in Cixi, Ningbo. You will do some travelling to meet suppliers & clients.
Principal Duties & Accountabilities:
? The QA Engineer is responsible for the implementation of quality control procedures and plans for providing the more efficient onsite manufacturing work.
? He or she develops and maintains quality standards that apply to onsite manufacturing work, ensuring proper implementation.
? The QA Engineer reviews and approves inspections, test plans and quality control plans from sub-contractors. He or she identifies, analyzes and resolves problems and issues with quality assurance and control for on site manufacturing.
? The QA Engineer plans and coordinates QA activities, making certain of quality control of the work in accordance to contract requirements. It is the responsibility of the QA Engineer to supervise the activities of the quality service providers and inspectors to ensure diligent performance. The QA Engineer reviews and approves the contractors' quality documentation, and implements contractor audits as well.
Direction Received:
Basic policy decision determined your quarterly performance review. This is for general ongoing monitoring purposes; for the most part the job holder is perfectly capable of carrying out his activities with minimum guidance.

Knowledge and Experience:
Skills/Qualifications:
? QA Engineers have a HNC/Degree level education in an engineering discipline or an equivalent field.
? QA Engineers must have at least 5 years of experience in a QA/QC position related to a manufacturing industry working within a European/American joint venture company.
? A QA Engineer has a record of compliance with quality work standards.
? QA Engineers also must have good communication and interpersonal skills. They have an ability to work well under pressure as well as keep up with several tasks at the same time.
? The experienced QA Engineer has excellent skills with the leading and managing of people, in addition to having a strong commercial awareness and data entry skills, min of CET 6 English written, Spoken and Technical English will be required, with exposure to communication with European companies
? Full Clean Driving Licence
