JOB SUMMARY:
To assist
the Merchandise Manager in the execution of brand directives in the focus
country.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
1. Product Development:
- Assist with spec packet hand off to factories and drive
development process with furniture technicians and need to keep track on process
& input info into PD log.
- Communicate with vendors on
products info , upload related info onto PLM system.

Communicate with vendors on basic product developments status and make sure
vendor follows our SOP.
- Documentation files in
place.
- Work with factory and CS to ensure on-time delivery and
notify superior if there are any major delays.
- Communicate with US
team on daily following up, make weekly report indicate major progress have been
made during the week and bring up attentions to team for the coming issues and
things need to be done in coming week for both sides.
2. Upload
information onto PLM system
- Check related info from vendor and US
team are matching before upload them onto PLM system.
- Make sure
all database are corrected and upload them onto PLM on time.
3. Vendor
relations
- Facilitate on-boarding of new vendors

Create strong relationships with all of our key vendors
- Conduct
monthly capacity forecast and scorecard discussions
- Arrange
necessary meeting with vendors and other divisions.
4. Manage
Team’s daily schedule
- List daily work need to be done for
MM.
- Prioritize and maintain technician schedule across
factories
DESIRABLE QUALIFICAIONS & COMPETENCIES:
Knowledge
The incumbent must have proficient knowledge in the following
areas:
- Minimum 2 years of practical experience in furniture
industries.
- Knowledge of furniture product
development
- Knowledge of furniture manufacturing
operations
Skills
The incumbent must demonstrate the following
skills:
- excellent interpersonal skills
- team building
skills
- effective verbal and listening communications
skills
- attention to detail and high level of
accuracy
- effective written communications skills

computer skills including the spreadsheet and word-processing programs, and
e-mail at a highly proficient level
- Good at office software, such
as photo shop/ power point.
