Primary Job Function:
To support production with efficiency and lean process improvements in the press and assembly areas while supporting all the other production departments like quality, die maintenance and material handling with problem solving techniques to resolve issues that may arise during the production process.

Principal Duties and Responsibilities Include:
1. Customer Satisfaction
- Cost, Quality, Delivery, Concerns/Conflicts
2. Feasibility of process & design
3. Launch projects supporting APQP, PPAP, Press, Assembly, Logistics
4. Establish and Maintain project open concerns matrix.
5. Supplier and in-house coordination and follow-up.
6. Research and Development/New Technology.
7. Develop and maintain Engineering Specifications.
8. Manufacturing Engineering VA/VE
- Quality Concerns
9. Process and efficiency improvement lead.

Budgetary Responsibilities:
Responsible for costs and efficiencies of production as assigned.



Knowledge, Skills & Abilities Needed:
Must have the ability to interpret and analyze Engineering information. Must meet the core skill competencies, have a broad based knowledge of all Engineering functions within the department (cross-functional) and have the respect of your Peers and Management.

Working Conditions:
Office environment with daily local travel and occasional national or international travel as required per project and customer needs.
