JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
? Coordinate the activities related to the identification, monitoring and control of key process parameters.
? Provide production supervising personnel with assistance to troubleshoot operational problems causing lack of quality in finished products or intermediates.
? Approve ways to increase product yields and reduce variable costs while maintaining the needed Quality standards.
? Set product acceptance process, including guidelines for corrective/preventive actions.
? Develop and implement SPC tools to enhance production quality reliability and On Aim Quality.
? Coordinate the definition and implementation of action plans for the improvement of production process Cp and Cpk.
? Lead the internal investigation team in front of a customer complaint – or internally detected anomaly - related to product quality and for prepare the related report
? Support the preparation and successful occurrence of customer audits.
? Coordinate the recovery/reworking of off-spec production.
? Lead the team in charge of identifying, selecting, implementing and monitoring the effectiveness of Corrective Actions related to customer (accepted) complaints and internally detected anomalies related to product quality.
? Support to new product industrialization and define criteria required to make an experimental product an ‘industrial’ one
? Cooperate and get support from global R&D staff to better understand for the re-process program for the special products
EDUCATION BACKGROUND:
? Minimum of B.S. of plastics process control or analysis or quality control related.
WORK EXPERIENCE:
? Experience with QA/QC programs, practices, and procedures in plastic industry; compounding production is preferred, but not must.
QUALIFICATION:
? 3+ years quality engineer working experience in plastic process industry.
? Practical experience in SAP and Implementation experience in ISO9000 is preferred;
? Be familiar with analysis tools used for trouble shooting or root cause analysis, SPC, Fish Bone, FMEA etc;
? Ability to achieve goals independently within a challenging time frame
? Experienced compunding process or Engineer is preferred, but not must
? Strong troubleshooting skills in quality and Strong technical and analytical skills
? Good understanding of product quality requirements and customer requirements
? Good Communication skills for both English and Mandarin.
? Ability to influence change
? 6 Sigma certificated is preferred, but not must.
