FUNCTIONAL AREA: TECHNOLOGY

REPORTS TO (N+1): Manager, China Tech Center
AUXILIARY REPORTING: NONE
POSITION SUMMARY:
Conduct test and process prototype.
KEY FUNCTIONS & RESPONSIBILITIES:
1. Examines test samples and reads measuring instruments data and operational instructions. Evaluates test performance, provides feedback regarding issues and/or problems with test and data sheets and reviews test and construction data with manager.
2. Conduct prototype in workshop and coordinate the sample make by outside resource if necessary.
3. Organize lab components and material in order, arrange layout reasonably per requirement.
4. Manage lab resources, including organizing for lab safety and cleanliness, instruments inventory, calibration schedule, and maintenance.
5. Manage test samples incoming and outgoing inventory, status tracking, shipping and receiving.
6. Plan to purchase necessary spare-parts and hardware per requirement
7. Effectively communicate results to manager and sales team.
8. Identify cost saving opportunities.
9. Willing to work (occasionally) beyond normal working hours.
10. Performs other duties as directed.

11. High technical school or college education or similar, major in science, automotive and mechanical or related field
12. Understand technical standards, material and part specifications
13. Can read/write English.
14. Able to work under pressure
15. Good PC skills, email, MS Office software.
