The successful applicant will be expected to work as a part of the new JV Purchasing function. He/she will be a competent self-starter with a clear understanding of the operational processes and structures associated with an International Purchasing Organisation. He/she will be required to Manage Data for our Supplier Base and be responsible as an interface between IT, PD, STA, Programme, Production Purchasing and Non Production Purchasing.

Exciting opportunity for skilled purchasing professional with at least 3 years of experience in Production Purchasing/ Non Production Purchasing / Supplier Quality Management/ Project Management or SAP system construct. In this role you will be required to use your prior experience and knowledge to help shape, develop and manage the joint venture purchasing supplier data base. Acting as an internal consultant, you will be required to construct and manage the Supplier Data base, and provide guidance, support and training to the wider purchasing team.

The candidate should have experience as a key user in purchasing SAP system and the experience on project of purchasing SAP system constructing will be desirable.

1. BA in Economic/Engineering Degree
2. Strong computer skill (Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, Project) and experience as key user of SAP
3. Strong communication skills. Team Player. Influential
4. Fluency in English and Mandarin
5. 3 years plus in purchasing with multinational OEM
6. Ability to present complex issues to a varied audience
7. Able to be flexible with working arrangements including shifts & overtime where required
8. The ability to work under pressure with minimal supervision when necessary to deliver key objectives.
9. Must have a record of proactive delivery and commitment to meeting deadlines.
10. Cross functional team working experience, Project Management, Business Acumen
