Job Title: Quality Engineer

Location: JiangSu Jianhu

Report to: General Manager

Job Scope:

To conduct supplier qualification audit, annual audit and process corrective actions, which is for global sourcing. Follow up NCRs (non-conformance report) and ECN (engineering change notice). Designs, installs, and maintains reliability database to monitor suppliers' performance. Review documentation for the parts and/or onsite inspection of parts at suppliers' location.

Job Responsibilities

1. Adhere to quality procedure and policies in accordance with the ISO9001 (where applicable) quality assurance system. Including:

a) Compliance to work instructions.

b) Raising corrective actions for all non-conformances.

c) Identifying areas requiring improvement and / or audit.

2. To conduct supplier qualification audit.

3. To conduct vendor annual audit.

4. Follow up on corrective actions after audit.

5. Review customer specification, supplier manufacturing/inspection process.

6. Perform documentation review/site witness of inspection on first articles and production batches.

7. To initiate or participate in investigations into causes or potential causes of failure.

8. Design, install and maintain reliability database of suppliers.

9. Provide quality advice and input to questionnaires, pre-qualifications, tenders and contracts.

10. To manage the process of corrective actions and to report to the Sourcing Manager any failures in the system.

11. To relate with all departments internally and externally as necessary to maintain and enhance the Company's reputation for Quality.

12. Strive to increase the Quality awareness of all employees and insure that all subcontractors and suppliers are aware of our requirements.

13. To produce a monthly report to Management.

14. Any other duties as may be assigned from time to time.

Job Requirement

· 5+ years of working experience , with 3+ years experience with an oilfield equipment/service company in a position of Quality Assurance

· Computer literate, knowledge of Windows operation system and other application software, such as Excel, Word, PowerPoint, ERP, Acrobat, AutoCAD, etc.

· Good command of English in both spoken and written

· Preferably holding an acceptable qualification in auditing

· Good communication skills both verbally and in writing to all levels within the Company, customers and external agencies

· Sound project management abilities

· Engineering background or degree, with knowledge of metallurgy and failure analysis

· Knowledge of Quality principles

· Presentation skills enabling effective demonstration of concepts, findings and recommendations to management, supplier, external agencies and auditors

· Methodical investigative skills in failure analysis and materials recommendation

· Proficiency in formal auditing techniques

· Background knowledge and skills in ISO 2000 Standards

Preferred

· Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering with knowledge in Quality Management Systems and statistical techniques

· Background of API Spec. Q1 and Statistical Process Training control and implementation
