Purpose of your role
The successful candidate would be expected to be a part of the testing group at Dalian. The candidate would be responsible for HK/Japan web/mobile/backend application testing as group leader, including identifying the risks and reporting them, clarifying requirement with business, planning and executing functional testing and integration testing (both automatic and manual), and developing application performance test packs for critical applications.
In this role, you will not only enhance your testing skills in cutting edge web application technology but also accumulate tremendous business and finance knowledge. You will have the opportunity to learn complex and mission critical software systems that span a multitude of technologies in a multi-platform environment.
A successful candidate should be highly motivated and a self- starter and a person who strives for perfection.
Your key accountabilities
? Work with project team member closely
? Ability to analysis requirement and negotiate with relevant stakeholder
? Ability to identify and define detail test scope, assumptions and dependencies for each test phase
? Ability to develop test plans, test cases and test scripts.
? Ability to design testing scenario and test data
? Ability to analyse defects and spot trends
? Ability to accurately log defects, escalate issues and risks and provide accurate management reporting.
? Ability to work on multiple assignments simultaneously and produce high quality products;
? Ability to work at a strategic and tactical level
? Be able to demonstrate consistent and good judgement of assessing severity of issues.
? Ability to think from a customer viewpoint and to understand the complexities of the business.
? Any other tasks assigned by your line manager.
Your skills and experience
? Over 5 Years of testing experience
? Knowledge of any well-known software development and testing life-cycle methodology
? Excellent knowledge of software testing techniques and test case development; can easily determine what test case is required for various testing scenarios
? Knowledge of relational databases and SQL language, preferably Oracle
? Experience supporting multiple concurrent tasks and produce high quality products
? Strong problem solving and analytical skills demonstrated by the ability to assimilate new information, understand complex topics and arrive at sound analysis and judgment
? Excellent written, verbal and interpersonal skills
? Good communication skills in English language
