Position Description
1.Build Bleum technical competition strength on Business Analytics (database, data management, business intelligence, data analytics) area for international IT outsourcing market
2.Build strong business analytics learning and training environment among all Bleum engineers including at bench and offshore development center
3.Support Bleum marketing and sales activities by providing technical competency
ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
1.Build Bleum technical competency development plan by integrating international technical development trend and Bleum business growth market needs
2.Evaluate Bleum offshore development center technical competency and make technical matrix
3.Build technical competency with offshore development centers
4.Build technical partnership
5.Knowledge technical best practice and share with all engineers in Bleum
6.Promote technical learning and training atmosphere to whole company
7.Organize and execute weekly technical training and knowledge sharing sessions to engineers inside Bleum
8.Anticipate Bleum marketing and sales activities and provide technical competency support
9.Make technical marketing materials
10.Understand offshore development center technical needs and prepare technical reserve for possible business opportunity
11.Make Bleum technical interview standard and apply to daily interview
12.Ready for OD": hire technical resources from labor market and provide them training before converting to ODC
13.Adhere to Bleum's highly disciplined Pearl process at all times.
14.Status reporting to executives on project status
15.Follow company English Only policy and take responsibility of team policy compliance.
Position Requirements
Functional Competencies:
1.Data warehouse Design
2.More than 3 full scale end to end BI projects experience
3.Hands-on experience of BI platform such as SAP BW/BI, IBM Cognos, Oracle BIEE or Qlikview
4.Good understanding of the ETL methodology and experience of Informatica or data-stage
5.Data mining experience is a big plus
Interpersonal Competencies:
1.Very Result oriented individual with discipline;
2.Excellent communication skill (oral & written) and presentation skill;
3.Be able to build and manage relationship with peer functions and drive for COE initiatives
4.Be able to drive conference call with executives from customer and peer functions;
5.Be able to develop new business from technical partnership, peer functions (marketing, sales, sales support, training, HR) and software offshore development centers
Leadership Competencies:
1.Excellent leadership and influence among direct resources in COE and those in peer functions and software development centers;
2.Strong confidence, positive working attitude and work with passion;
3.Excellent time management skill for multiple tasking;
Minimum Educational Level:
1.Bachelor or master in Engineering / Science / Computer Applications
2.MBA degree is strong plus;
Experiences:
1.6 years or above working experience in software development industry;
2.2 - 4 year work experience with project and people management is plus.
3.2 - 4 year work experience with business development or presale support is plus.
4.Working experience with US or European companies is plus
5.Working experience with outsourcing companies is a strong plus
