Responsibilities:
1.Fully understand the characteristics and the measurement techniques of LED products. Instruct the customers to design these products in their applications. Analyze and resolve the technical issues in customer applications;
2.Develop technical documentation including design guidelines, application notes and design tools;
3.Develop new applications with SSL market. Design and build new application demonstrations for trade shows and customer meetings;
4.Work closely with Marketing and Sales to launch new LED products and promote their applications in illumination market. Provide technical training and demonstrational tools to Sales and customers;
5.Work closely with Marketing to understand the leading edge of LED applications, identify and evaluate new fields for applying LED technologies, create product specifications based on customer application requirements;
6.Prepare proposals and lighting simulations based on project layout plans through use of tools like Dialux.
Qualifications:
1.Minimum B.S. Degree;
2.5+years of experience in board level electronics circuit design (analog and digital). Additional experience in illumination market is preferred;
3.Good communication skills, strong presentation and technical writing abilities are required;
4.Strong capability in managing multiple tasks. Result oriented;
5.Highly self-motivated. Excellent team work skills;
6.Ability to travel around 50%.
