As a member of the Advanced Development department, you would join a team responsible to generate new concepts, and develop these ideas into new or improved products, tools, and/or processes for the global SRG organization. In this role, you will be responsible to operate within the SRG Advanced Development Process with support from the Business Development, commercial, and creative departments to introduce these concepts into the SRG product portfolio.

The ideal candidate will possess the skills and knowledge sought below but, of equal importance, he or she will be self motivated, possess a positive attitude, and be a creative thinker. This is a “hands-on” position that will work across the organization in a competitive atmosphere. Working effectively with cross-functional teams is crucial for success.

REQUIREMENTS

• Researching, developing and implementing new products into our existing asset base.
• Innovative thought process
• Leading well planned technology transfer to assure that best practices and new learning are implemented uniformly across the production base.
• Representing technology to the customers, and internal technical community.
• Developing and growing strong relationships with customers in support of our technology and product roadmaps.
• Regular reporting of development results and recommended actions to a broad internal audience of leaders, scientists and production staff.
• Interfacing with the Commercial team, and widespread production teams to develop new product requirements and specifications.
• Up to 50% domestic travel is required.
• Responsible to support the development of and to implement the product technical roadmap - OEM studio/styling voice of the customer

• Full understanding of customer tier I specifications and expectations.

？ Experience and working knowledge of DFMEA, PFMEA and APQP process

？ Good working knowledge of descriptive geometry, surface development capability, body sheet metal knowledge, and assembly drawing layout.

？ Support the customer in the development and validation of designs that meet the inputs and technical requirements specified.

BACKGROUND

• Degree in Mechanical, Industrial, or Electrical Engineering or related field.
• 10+ year’s industrial experience of managing and leading complex, fast moving projects.
• 5 years of experience with plastics plating, painting and processes
• Strong analytical and problem solving abilities
• Ability to make decisions and take action under pressure.
• Experience of statistical DoE and root cause analysis.

· Excellent communication and presentation skills, ability to interact with all levels and functions of customers both internal and external .
