Position: Cable Engineer

Responsibilities:

1. Support Digital/Analog cable design for Engineering
2. Review cable design for manufacturing
3. Define manufacturing process flow for new cables and propose necessary fixtures
4. Build NPI cables per drawings and trouble shoot issues
5. Support cable manufacturing cost reduction
6. Initiate failure analysis and develop corrective actions for production

Qualifications:

1. Must be familiar with Audio/Video cables’ key structures and the ways to build them, like: HDMI, DP, DVI, VGA, BNC, RCA, etc.
2. Be familiar with cable test methodology
3. Have knowledge of cable reliability test
4. Good knowledge of cable shielding and grounding.
5. Over 5 years in cable design/manufacturing environment
6. English proficiency is a must
