Position Title: Senior Organizational Development Specialist

Department: Human Resources

Reports to: direct report to HR Director-China, dotted line to Organizational Development Director

Position Summary:

Working as a consultative partner, will provide specialized expertise in the development and management of talent to NOV Business Units in China. Works to build a culture of business unit and line managers as the primary developers of talent, and provides the required tools and training to facilitate this.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

·Manage relationships with operating groups and business units in the region to ensure proper customer service

and that Talent programs are aligned with business strategies

·Train managers to effectively develop their people

·Facilitate Talent Management session for NOV business units in China, and train additional facilitators

·Enhance the talent review success and keep on reviewing the effectiveness of the process

·Coaching Performance Feedback Discussions, development conversations, and conducting 360 assessments

·Manage competence module development, communication and alignment

·Assist with coordination and communication of regional learning and development programs, and measure

effectiveness and efficiency of the programs

·Maintain Talent Management Database (Fusion)

·Other related tasks according to the business needs

QUALIFICATIONS:

·Bachelors Degree in Business, Psychology, or related discipline

·5+ years experience in OD, HR, Sales or Operations (preferably in Oilfield Services)

·Excellent communication and presentation skills in Chinese and in English

·Strong interpersonal skills and political savvy

·Strong planning and organizational skills

·Ability to travel regional and occasionally to Houston

·Proficient office computer skills, especially in Powerpoint Presentation

·Familiar with local labor law and HR regulations
