Job Responsibilities
- Supplier Quality Management (30 %)
？ Effectively ensure the implementation of supplier quality assurance procedures.
？ Lead Initial Supplier Sample Approval process.
？ Define the project’s objectives, approve the project quality control plan and oversee the quality control throughout project life cycle.
？ Organize corrective actions with quality function and feedback with supplies verification by tracking NCRs till closing it.

- Sourcing (60 %)
？ Definition and implementation purchasing strategy with the procurement function for assigned commodities.
？ Make a list of suppliers to consult in collaboration with the project team and procurement department.
？ Define the specific purchase conditions and administrative procedures to be applied to the project.
？ Define the scope of supply and warranties and prepare purchase requisitions for all equipment and services.
？ Negotiating and administering Supply Agreements/Contracts.
？ Annual 4-8% cost savings initiatives by working with headquarter commodity managers.
？ Ensure that suppliers manufacturing schedule and quality is monitored and in line with the project goals.
？ Manage current supplier relationships with SRS tracking to drive performance improvements in the areas of quality, delivery, lead time and OTD.
？ Leading global sourcing and outsourcing projects (transition projects)
? Low cost region sourcing initiatives
? Rationalization/Consolidation of Supplier Base
? Lead Vendor Managed Inventory initiatives

- Document Management (10 %)
？ Approves documents prepared by the project team before passing them to the suppliers.
？ Set the distribution list for documents prepared by the project team.
？ Ensures the correct referencing of documents, documents revisions and transmittals through internal system (Share point).


Job Requirements
-Bachelor degree in Metallurgy / material / Mechanical Engineering or related field required, Masters degree preferred
-8 years experience in manufacturing operations and/or purchasing and sourcing, preferably in the area ofcommodities assigned
-Domestic and International travel to suppliers is required
-Must be able to positively influence other functional areas to ensure process and policies are adhered to
-Demonstrates strong leadership ability, vision, and innovative thinking
-E-sourcing experience, SAP and MS office skills.
-Pump, Valve industry experience is preferred.
-Strong experience in casting (sand casting, investment casting of Iron, CS, SS, duplex, super duplex casting.) and traded parts like motors, filters, couplings, heat transformer, mini flow valve.
-Knowledge ISO Quality System, 8D ( NCR ) and project management.
