To plan, develop, manage and deploy all new and existing sales training programmes. ? To liaise with relevant internal and external stakeholders, identifying cost requirements for all sales training courses in support of the annual budget process.
Responsibilities:
? Develop & maintain a sales training strategy in line with long term Akzo Nobel and PC business needs, to set direction and assist with future planning.
? Co-ordinates activity to scope out and develop new sales training courses in line with short- and medium-term business requirements
? Conducts regular reviews to drive improvements in sales course structure/content/delivery to ensure that all training courses remain relevant and robust.
? Develops and maintains online sales training packages for the PC business, collaborating with the WW teams/departments to secure the appropriate IT platforms, course content and assessment criteria.
? Co-ordinates the preparation and production of all course material - either using internal resource or that from external training providers.
? Carries out an ongoing review of all new and existing suppliers/providers, negotiating rates and contracts to ensure that we remain cost-effective.
? Prepares and submits annual budget for all sales training and event activity, ensuring that clear justification is provided in support of all budgeted items.
? Completes detailed cost analysis of each course, ensuring courses are delivered within budget and all cross charges are complete with the required timescales.
? Maintains training records on sales training for all personnel in conjunction with HR
Requirements:
? Degree qualified - ideally in a Business related subject
? Further qualifications related to training and professional development desired but not essential
? CIM Marketing qualifications could be beneficial
? Minimum 3 years post-graduate experience - ideally within a marketing, training or HR related role
? Exposure to organisation, support or administration of training courses
? Practical experience of co-ordinating/managing multi-functional project teams
? Experience of dealing with suppliers and business partners
? Experience of setting and managing budgets is desirable but not essential
? Excellent communication skills - written, oral, and the confidence to present to large groups
? Strong interpersonal skills - ability to create and maintain relationships at all levels
? Facilitation and negotiation skills - ability to leverage relationships
? Ability to multi-task and work under pressure according to strict deadlines
? Project management skills and attention to detail
? Fluent in both English and Mandarin as a minimum
