Javra Software is seeking a Senior ASP.NET Engineer ready to make a long term commitment to an excellent career in Chengdu. You will work as part of our world class outsourcing team developing desktop and web software applications for international customers with the .NET Framework.

This vacancy is open to experienced software developers.


Role and Responsibilities:

Your responsibilities will include (but are not limited to):
1. Build and support state-of-the-art enterprise ASP.NET application
2. Lead a team of junior .NET developers and mentor them in technical capacities
3. Excellent understanding of Object Oriented design and principles
4. Practical knowledge of SDLC and SCRUM practices
5. Sound understanding of various design patterns and their practical implementations is a plus
6. Excellent communication skills.
7. A knack for problem solving and is full of innovative ideas; someone who thrives on challenges.
8. Keen sense of analyzing and understanding requirements and further implementation.
9. Ability to create user guides, software design documentation is preferred
10.Desire to perform and grow in the IT industry along with us

Requirements and Qualifications:

Bachelor or Masters Degree in Software Engineering, Computer Science or related field.

You have the following experience and profile:

1. 4+ years experience developing in the .NET framework
2. Minimum 3+ years experience developing high-scale, enterprise ASP.NET applications using Visual Studio 2010 or above
3. Fluent in C#; knowledge of Visual Basic, Visual C++ is a plus
4. Solid command of MS-SQL Server (MS-SQL 2008 and above) and T-SQL
5. Strong Knowledge of Web Services/WCF: REST, SOAP, Oauth; prior experience building applications by integrating web services/WCF is a must
6. Experience in working with Telerik's Tools and Controls will be highly valued
7. Proven experience in at least one standard .NET ORM (NHibernate, LinqConnect, Linq to *, Entity Framework, BLToolkit, DataObjects,etc.) is a must
8. Firm grasp of Team Foundation Server, SVN, or Git
9. Understanding of web-based technologies: Native Javascript, HTML5, CSS2/3, jQuery, Backbone.js/Angular.js/Ember.js (or other JS Frameworks);
10. Fluent writing skills for unit tests (NUnit) and high-quality optimised code that follows best practices

Background in any of the following is a bonus:
1. SharePoint development
2. MS Dynamics development
3. ASP.NET MVC
4. NoSQL databases
5. MCSD certification from Microsoft
