Purpose:

• The position is a key to delivering a successful project management, being the key anchor point for the central project owners, sites and local stakeholders and being fully accountable for a successful management of the respective scope.
• Project leader for migration the independence project and the related subprojects

· Closing of local access

· Knowledge management

• Project liaison between sites, countries and project organization
• Extensive contact/dealings with senior stakeholders in countries, GSC and BPO

Key Responsibilities:

• Establishing and leading an efficient project organization delivering the required results
• Ensuring that countries are ready to loose their access via creating confidence in the GSC, identifying and addressing GSC process shortcomings creating barriers to the change
• Creating knowledge management system/tool to ensure captured knowledge is documented, controlled and shared/addressed
• Develop/coach/lead the teams (managers)
• Preparing the respective GSC to handle the knowledge processes effectively
• Facilitate training/certification of the respective staff (Competency mapping link)
• Develop methodology for knowledge handling and efficient distribution to account teams enabling them to deliver beyond expectations and positioning them for moving up the value chain
• Ensure governance to migration framework – validate the framework/project deliverables
• Promote best practice and share learning's
• Leverage industry best practices and display adaptability to new industry ideas

Position Specifications:

• A university degree in Finance and Accounting and/ or MBA
• +5 years within Finance and Accounting (experienced accountant/ controller with ERP background)
• Project management skills and experience. Ability to accurately scope out length and difficulty of tasks and projects; set objectives and goals and development of schedules and task/people assignments
• Lean/Six Sigma training/experience
• Experienced in leading teams; and/or leading projects of a global complexity
• Should demonstrate perseverance, a high energy drive and a need to finish specially in the face of setbacks and resistance.
• Must be able to effectively cope with change. Changing gears comfortably, can handle risk and uncertainty.
• Ability to manage conflict, seeing it as an opportunity. Can find common ground among all involved stakeholders and get cooperation with minimum noise.
• Previous experience from handling migrations is preferred
• Previous experience in a BPO/ Offshoring/ Process Driven environment is preferred

Technical Skills:

• Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office, including MS Project; able to develop and maintain project plans.
• SAP knowledge/experience in Finance. Should have basic understanding of an ERP system and it's dependencies.
• Ability to learn on the fly - A relentless and versatile learner, open to change.
• Time Management - Uses his/her time effectively and efficiently to enable attendance to a broader range of activities.
• Fluent in both Chinese and English.
