Purpose of position:
The BI Programmer executes under supervision several database, data warehouse and BI programming tasks, such as supporting the development of data warehouse assigned by the Lead.

Job requirements:
- Knowledge of at least 1 programming language (C, C++, C#, Java, PHP, etc).
- Good understanding of databases (Mysql , Oracle, SQL Server, Sqlite, etc..) and SQL language.
- Passion for working on database related technologies(data warehouse, BI, etc.)
- Understand software engineering practices.
- Able to analyze simple problems and design simple solutions.
- Able to program and debug simple applications using object-oriented or procedural programming.
- Commitment to personal and peer development and sharing best practices.
- Ability to work independently or as a team player.
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office software (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
- Ability to reuse various existing modules/components.
- Excellent presentation, organization, time management, and cross-department communication skills.
- Must be responsible, proactive, accountable, and personable.
- Able to quickly adapt to changing situations and take on new challenges.
- Strong organizational and analytical skills, and able to solve problems.
- Graduated or pursing graduation from a University degree program or equivalent from a recognized institution.
- Passion for creating and playing games, no matter what platform or genre.
- Prior experience with BI is a plus.
- Excellent communication skills in both English and Chinese (rated at 1.5 out of 5.0 based on the test given by HR department).

Job Responsibilities (100% of time)
- When assigned a task, work with your lead to create a plan and schedule.
- Complete your task based on the plan, requirements and schedule approved by management.
- Communicate the progress of your work to your peers, customers, and leads.
- Correct defects discovered by QC or your customers in a timely fashion.
- Provide self-assessment on how to improve their own performance.
- Provide a basic analysis of a task to your lead before coding.
- Design a simple solution to a task to your lead before coding.
- Strictly adhere to the coding standard while executing a coding task.
- Ask peers for code reviews upon completing a coding task.
- Act in the spirit of the Core Skills and Job Skills Competencies.
