Motivation for this request for new staff:
As the Continuously Improvement Engineer , this position active in 3 areas: Continuous improvement projects (CIP), manufacturing investment projects, and Product Development (CTP
Outline of tasks for the position:
Focus on CIP Continuous Improvement Projects, it is responsible for implementing lean principles in the various areas of the manufacturing organization (assembly, logistics, design, sourcing, admin...), he will identify potential improvement projects and develop proposals for future workshops. The goal of a lean improvement project is to minimize the amount of time and resources used in the manufacturing processes and other activities of an enterprise, with emphasis on eliminating all forms of waste. (Waiting time, overstock...) All your projects are based on the 4 "lean" principles: Flow - Takt - Pull - Zero defects. he will share experiences, training with our counterparts in other product companies . For larger CIP projects he will work together with/support your colleagues to implement CIP projects in our different product companies worldwide. During a CIP Continuous Improvement Project he will lead a cross-functional project team. Each project is preceded by a workshop definition, where he and his manager define concrete objectives. During a project he motivate his team, provide training in order to coordinate changes. A project is successful when stable results are achieved and the knowledge is transferred to his team. his secure the knowledge of lean manufacturing principles by establishing procedures and providing training in the organization. Main focus points are improving and securing safety, ergonomics, space utilization, quality and efficiency.
Manufacturing investment projects: preparing investment proposals linked to CIP projects (from business case and planning to coordination of the implementation.) he is responsible for implementing the project within the given timing and budget .With product development projects (Concept to Product)he support or is part of a cross-functional project team (PTM). The project team is responsible for the successful realization of the entire project, where he introduce in the most efficient way new products to the various production lines. he is part of the development of a new product from the definition of the master specification to market introduction. he act as representative of the manufacturing department in the project team and vice versa. During the pilot batch phase he take the lead off the project and he will report to management via PCM. During these projects he will safeguard the lean principles. he will share experience and work together with his colleagues in other regions (Indie, Europe, N+S America). As part of an international team travelling will be a natural part of the job.

Core qualifications (diploma/education requirements) and experiences needed (essential for the positions):
Experience: have a profound operational and logistic experience in manufacturing and knowledge of lean manufacturing principles, have an engineering degree or equivalent experience (preferably in a mechanical engineer or direction)
Educational requirements: Bachelor Degree or equivalent experience in Mechanical
