Sandvik in Wuxi is seeking for a Purchasing Specialist.

The position would directly report to Indirect Purchasing Supervisor Wuxi Site, below please refer to the job description:

Key performance areas:

· Responsible for sourcing, qualification, contracts and management of suppliers. Ensure materials meet the requirement of departments on competitive price, quality and service;

· Create and manage sourcing strategies to support business requirements today and in the future;

· Make purchasing procedure, establish and manage supplier’s key performance indicator;

· Ensure material is available at the point of use, on time, to the required quality levels and at minimum cost;

· Anticipate potential supply issues and eliminate them before they impact the business;

· Continuously monitor and analyze the price trend and goods supply & production technical develop trend, and risk analysis, suppliers annual evaluation;

· Check material purchasing plan, and make sure that communication with production, finance and quality department is go well with supplier;

· Ensure that material cost reduction budgets are met;

· Responsible for supplier negotiation, prepare the goods supplier agreement and non-trading contract;

· Maintenance purchasing module ERP data;

· Working together with category manager for project facility bidding process;

· Responsible for equipment import and trading process;

· Ensure that the supply base supports the required delivery and quality performance of the business;

· Support Wuxi Site indirect purchasing supervisor and implement IPO decision);

· Other tasks assigned by indirect purchasing supervisor.

Your profile:

· Above college degree, Proficient in MRP/ERP systems and process flow;

· 2-3 years experiences in a supply chain role;

· Mastery of English language (reading, speaking & writing);

· Team work and good communicative skills.
