Sandvik in Beijing is seeking for an A/P Accountant.

Sandvik is a high-technology, engineering group with advanced products and a world-leading position within selected areas. Worldwide business activities are conducted through representation in more than 130 countries. In 2012 the Group had about 49,000 employees with annual sales of approximately 99,000 MSEK.

The position would take accounting tasks primarily for A/P process for domestic purchase and ensure supplier invoices / payments are booked and processed in a timely and accurate manner. The position would directly report to A/P Manager, below please refer to the job description:

Key performance areas:
· Responsible for account payable process in defined responsibilities, ensure payment processing and booking are handled in line with internal and external standards
a) ensure supplier invoices and payment are properly booked in SAP
b) ensure appropriate authorization is obtained before the payment is made
c) ensure appropriate supporting documents are in place before payment is made
· Responsible for booking staff monthly expenses report, ensure appropriate chart of accounts are used
· Prepare accrual details & VAT accrual list for the month end general ledger booking
· Communicate with internal department and external suppliers for payment issues, follow up outstanding items
· Assist in performing reconciliation of group supplier statements (ICM) in accordance with group guidelines
· Prepare timely account specifications, identify problems and conduct necessary follow-up
· Keep updated group timetables all the time and ensure to meet the related deadline strictly
· Other tasks as manager assigned

Your profile:
· Related accounting working experiences in MNCs of above 2 years
· College degree in accounting or similar major
· Good communication skills, good command of English
· Good computer skill and ERP operator, SAP preferred
· Self-motivated, able to work under pressure
As a person you are proactive, self-motivated and one with lot of initiative, courage and integrity and a business minded, result oriented attitude. You also have strong communication skills and can work in an English environment.
